Attorney General William Barr appointed Holly A. D'Andrea to begin hearing cases in May 2019. Judge D'Andrea earned a Bachelor of Science in 2003 from Oklahoma State Universityand a Juris Doctor in 2006 from Saint Louis University School of Law. From 2011 to 2019, sheserved as an assistant U.S. attorney with the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Southern District of Texas, Department of Justice (DOJ), in Brownsville, Texas. From 2016 to 2017, she served asthe national border and immigration legal issues coordinator with the Executive Office for U.S.Attorneys, DOJ, in Washington, D.C. From 2008 to 2010, she was an assistant prosecutingattorney, assistant county counselor, and city attorney in Washington County, Missouri. From 2007 to 2008, she was in private practice. Judge D'Andrea is a member of the Missouri Bar.
