Attorney General William P. Barr appointed Charissa S. Dvorak as an immigration judge in March 2020. From 2016 to 2020, she was an attorney with Spencer Fane LLP, in Dallas. From 2012 to 2020, she was a leadinvestigator for GRACE, a national non-profit, in Lynchburg, Virginia. From 2000 to 2011, sheserved as an assistant criminal district attorney in Texas for the District Attorney Offices of Harris County, Mc Lennan County, and Dallas County. Judge Dvorak is a member of the State Bar of Texas.
