Attorney General William P. Barr appointed Thomas J. Mungoven as an Immigration Judge in October 2020. Judge Mungoven earned a Bachelor of Arts in 2001 from Hunter College and a Juris Doctor in 2004 from Saint John’s University School of Law. From 2004 to 2020, he was inprivate practice as the founder and lead attorney of Mungoven & Associates PC, in New York.From 2004 to 2008, he served as a staff attorney at Catholic Charities of the Archdiocese of Newark Immigrant and Refugee Services Division. Judge Mungoven is a member of the New Jersey State Bar and the New York State Bar.
