Attorney General Barr appointed Marna M. Rusher to begin hearing cases in January 2020. From 2007 to 2019, she served as an assistant chief counsel, Office of Chief Counsel, Office of the Principal Legal Advisor, Immigration and Customs Enforcement, Department of Homeland Security, in Boston. From 2005 to 2007, she was a civil litigation associate for Murphy & Riley P.C. From 2002 to 2005, she served as an assistant district attorney, in Middlesex County, Massachusetts. Judge Rusher is a member of the Massachusetts State Bar.
