Attorney General William P. Barr appointed Andrew M. Calvelli as an immigration judge in March 2020. Judge Calvelli earned a Bachelor of Arts in 1987 from the University of Virginiaand a Juris Doctor in 1996 from Rutgers University School of Law. From 2016 to 2020, heserved as an administrative law judge for the Pennsylvania Public Utility Commission, in Harrisburg. From 2010 to 2016, he served as an administrative law judge for the Pennsylvania Department of Labor and Industry, in Philadelphia and King of Prussia. From 1996 to 2010, hewas in private practice, in Malvern, Pennsylvania and Wayne, Pennsylvania. Judge Calvelli is amember of the Pennsylvania State Bar.
