From 2006 to 2020, he served as an assistant chief counsel, Office of Chief Counsel, Office of the Principal Legal Advisor, Immigration and Customs Enforcement, Department of Homeland Security, in Los Angeles. From 2005 to 2006, he was in private practice, in Los Angeles. Judge Marcus is amember of the State Bar of California.
