Jake D. Nare was appointed as an immigration judge to begin hearing cases in November 2023. Judge Nare earned a Bachelor of Arts in 2005 from the University of California, San Diego, and a Juris Doctor in 2010 from Pepperdine University School of Law. From 2016 to 2023, he served as an assistant U.S. attorney at the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Central District of California, in Los Angeles and Santa Ana, California.
